Saudi Arabia lift 3 Years travel ban Updates Today from 2024

Earlier, the General Directorate of Passports put the ban in place because businessmen asked for it. They wanted to stop people from coming back if they didn’t return on time with their exit and reentry visa. The businessmen were worried that these delays were causing financial problems, like extra fees for permits and tickets. So, the government decided to stop people from coming back for three years if they didn’t follow the visa rules.

Riyadh – January 16, 2024 – Big news from Okaz newspaper! Saudi Arabia has changed a rule. Before, if -someone from another country left Saudi Arabia and didn’t come back before their visa expired, they couldn’t return for three years. But now, Okaz says that rule is gone!

The government made this change after listening to business people. These business people were worried because when workers don’t come back on time, it costs a lot of money for permits and tickets. Sometimes, it even leads to losing jobs and makes the job market unstable.

Now, if you want to leave Saudi Arabia and come back, there are some rules:

  • Pay all your traffic fines.
  • Don’t have any problems that stop canceling an old visa.
  • Don’t have a visa that is still valid.
  • Be in Saudi Arabia when you get the new visa.
  • Your passport should be valid for more than 90 days.
  • They need your fingerprint for the new visa.
